Foraminal Stenosis
Foraminal stenosis is variation of spinal stenosis. It is the narrowing of the foramen through which the nerve root exits the spinal canal. Symptoms of stenosis can include any of the following:
- Lower back pain
- Neck pain
- Limping caused by pain
Nonsurgical treatments include:
- NSAIDs
- Soft collar
- Immobility (typically with a brace)
- Medicine
- Home exercises
